Lip Blush Aftercare
it's important to protect the treated area from sun exposure, as sun exposure can cause fading and discoloration of the pigment.
Refrain from getting your lips wet for the next 48 hours
Wash your hands before this step.
-
Damp a cotton pad and blot your lips to eliminate bacteria, product buildup, oils, and dead skin. If you find yourself in a dusty environment, gently wash your brows with a mild soap, such as baby shampoo or Cetaphil. (Don’t worry, this will not remove the pigment!) Of course, try to not go into a dusty environment for 48 hours after the procedure.
-
Dry the lips with a new cotton pad or a clean tissue.
-
Apply our natural healing lip balm 2-3 times a day with clean hands.
-
Your lips might be swollen overnight, sometimes for 48 hours. The fuller your lips naturally, the more evident this will be. Ice can be applied over a tissue to reduce swelling.
-
For the first two 2 days, use a straw when drinking liquids.
-
Do not rub, pick, or scratch the treated area. Let it heal naturally, otherwise, there might be scaring or pigment loss.
-
During the peeling process, it may look like there is not much color there. Color is more apparent by the second week.
-
When brushing teeth for the first 3 days, coat lips with a lot of ointment before brushing and use a minimal amount of toothpaste.

Avoid the following for 14 days:
-
Direct sun exposure and tanning beds.
-
Makeup, skincare products, or wetting the lips.
-
Avoid saunas, pools, and steam rooms.
