Services

If you are a new client and have had previous work done by another artist, you must schedule a consultation before booking an appointment with Golden Compass. Otherwise, your appointment will be cancelled and you will lose your deposit. This is a strict policy and there are no exceptions. We do not touch up or correct the work of other artists. New clients will be treated as new procedures. Most initial permanent makeup procedures require a follow-up session in 6 to 8 weeks, which is not included in the price. Please refer to our policy for more information.

Microblading

Microblading is a semi-permanent cosmetic tattooing technique used to enhance the appearance of eyebrows. It involves using a handheld tool with fine needles to create small, hair-like strokes in the skin and deposit pigment, resulting in fuller and more defined eyebrows. This procedure is popular for people looking to improve the shape and thickness of their eyebrows. 6-8 weeks touch-up not included.

Powder/Ombre Brows

Powder/ombre brows, also known as powder ombré brows, are a semi-permanent makeup technique for eyebrows. This method involves using a machine or handheld tool to create a soft and powdered makeup look. Unlike microblading, no individual hair-like strokes are drawn. Instead, tiny dots or stippling motions are used to deposit pigment, resulting in a filled-in, defined appearance.

Powder brows offer a more polished and makeup-like effect and are a great choice for those who prefer a well-defined and filled-in look without mimicking the appearance of natural hairs. They tend to last longer and require less maintenance compared to microblading, making them a popular choice for individuals seeking low-maintenance, long-lasting results. The shape and density of the brows can be customized to suit your preferences. This is good option for those who have a lot of natural eyebrow hairs already. 6-8 weeks touch-up not included.

Combination Brows

Combination brows, often referred to as combo brows, are a popular semi-permanent makeup technique for enhancing and shaping eyebrows. As the name suggests, this method combines elements of both microblading and shading or microshading.

In combination brows, the technician first uses microblading to create natural-looking, hair-like strokes in the front part of the eyebrow. This replicates the appearance of individual eyebrow hairs. Then, shading or microshading is used to fill in the rest of the eyebrow with a soft, powdered effect. This combination results in fuller, well-defined eyebrows that have a more polished and defined look. It's a versatile technique that can be tailored to achieve various levels of definition and density, depending on the client's preferences. 6-8 weeks touch-up no included.

Nano Brows

Nano hairstrokes, also known as nano blading or nano brows, are a more advanced technique in semi-permanent makeup for eyebrows. Similar to microblading, nano hairstrokes involve the use of a machine with very fine needle to create realistic, hair-like strokes in the skin. The term "nano" typically refers to the ultra-fine needles used in this technique, which are even smaller than those used in traditional microblading.

Nano hairstrokes aim to create a natural and hyper-realistic appearance for the eyebrows. The use of finer needles allows for greater precision and the ability to mimic the look of individual eyebrow hairs with incredible detail. This technique is particularly popular for those seeking the most natural-looking results in eyebrow enhancement. 6-8 weeks touch up not included.

Eyelash Enhancement

Eyelash enhancement is a semi-permanent makeup technique that focuses on defining the eyes by adding subtle color and thickness to the upper lash line. This technique is often chosen by individuals who want to achieve a natural-looking, more defined appearance of their eyelashes without the need for traditional eyeliner.

During the procedure, a technician uses a specialized machine or handheld tool to deposit pigment into the base of the upper eyelashes. This creates the illusion of darker and fuller lashes, making the eyes appear more awake and defined. The result is typically very subtle and mimics the appearance of having slightly thicker and darker lashes, without the boldness of traditional eyeliner.

Eyelash enhancement is a popular choice for those who want a low-maintenance and long-lasting solution for enhancing their eyes. The effect can last for a few years, although touch-ups may be required to maintain the desired look. 6-8 weeeks touch-up not included.

Classic Eyeliner

Eyeliner tattooing or eyeliner micropigmentation, is a cosmetic procedure that involves applying semi-permanent pigment to the skin along the lash lines to create the appearance of eyeliner. This technique is typically done using a specialized machine or handheld tool with fine needles.

The purpose of permanent eyeliner is to enhance the eyes and provide a long-lasting solution for defined and well-shaped eyeliner without the daily hassle of applying makeup. While permanent eyeliner is long-lasting, it is not truly permanent, and the color may gradually fade over time. Touch-up sessions may be required to maintain the desired intensity and appearance. 6-8 weeks touch-up is not included.

Winged Eyeliner

Winged eyeliner is similar to the classic eyeliner, but it incorporates distinctive cat-eye wings at the outer corners. This procedure requires clearance at both ends of the eyes. It's important to note that individuals with droopy eyes may not be suitable candidates for this style of eyeliner. 6-8 weeks touch-up not included.

Ombre Eyeliner

Ombré eyeliner is a semi-permanent makeup technique that combines the effects of traditional eyeliner with a soft ombré shading. During this procedure, pigment is applied along the upper lash lines to create the appearance of eyeliner.

The term "ombré" refers to the gradual transition of color. In the context of eyeliner, it means that the line starts lighter at the inner corner of the eye and gradually darkens towards the outer corner, resulting in a subtle and smoky effect. This technique is chosen by individuals who want to enhance their eyes with a more natural and softly defined look with a touch of ombre to create an eyeshadow illusion. 6-8 weeks touch-up not included.

Lip Blush 101.jpg

Lip Blush

Lip blush is a semi-permanent makeup technique that involves adding color and definition to the lips. It's also sometimes referred to as lip tattooing or lip micropigmentation. The goal of lip blush is to enhance the natural color of the lips and create a more defined and youthful appearance.

During the procedure, a technician uses a machine or handheld tool to deposit pigment into the lips, typically in a soft and subtle manner. This can improve the overall shape, add natural-looking color, and define the border of the lips. Lip blush is often chosen by individuals who want to achieve a more polished and even lip color, as well as those looking to correct unevenness, fading lip color, or enhance their lip shape. The result is a semi-permanent enhancement that can last for a few years, although touch-ups may be needed to maintain the desired look. 6-8 weeks touch-up not included.

Saline removal.jpg

PMU Saline Removal

Saline removal, often referred to as saline tattoo removal or saline lightening, is a technique used to lighten or remove unwanted semi-permanent or permanent tattoos and cosmetic makeup. It involves the use of a saline solution that is tattooed over the existing pigment.

During the saline removal process, the saline solution works to break down and lift the ink particles from the skin. Over a series of sessions, the tattoo or makeup pigment gradually fades, becoming lighter and less noticeable. While saline removal can be effective for reducing the appearance of unwanted tattoos or permanent makeup, complete removal may not always be possible, and multiple sessions are typically required.
